City of Irvine, California Salary Range: $68,723.20 - $103,084.80 annually Plus Excellent Benefits (Retirement: PERS 2.7% @ 55) The City of Irvine is seeking an experienced GIS Supervisor to manage and administer citywide geographic information system (GIS) programs and projects. This includes supervising related technical personnel, perform advanced level GIS database administration tasks, coordinating citywide GIS development, prepare the program budget and monitor expenditures. Preparing detailed long and short-term work plans, managing the work of consultants and vendors, and facilitating data sharing agreements with external agencies, are also essential functions of this outstanding opportunity. Our ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in GIS, geography, civil engineering, computer science, information systems management or related field, plus six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in managing enterprise-wide GIS including three years of supervisory and project management experience.
