CGGVeritas, the world’s largest and leading geophysical company in the industry, is seeking experienced Navigators to work offshore on our seismic vessels. The Navigator is responsible for the recording quality of navigation data onboard the boat. This position is also responsible for the setup and operation of navigation acquisition systems; performing installation and maintenance of the systems and their associated cables and antennas; performing proper layout of seismic recording equipment and ensuring proper connections have been made to recording equipment. Position Requirements: Working knowledge of UNIX preferred. GPS – Navigation experience, a plus. AS Equivalent or above in Hydrographic Surveying, Marine Science, Marine Engineering, Marine Technology, Geodesy or Geomatics. Must possess willingness to work offshore for extended periods of time.
