GIS Specialist - Recreation and Conservation

Western Pennsylvania Conservancy has a full-time opening for a GIS professional. This position will work directly with Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR), Bureau of Recreation and Conservation and will be located in Harrisburg, PA. The GIS Specialist will be responsible for coordination, storage, and dissemination of GIS data, with special emphasis on information pertaining to trails. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree plus related work experience in geography, spatial information management or a related field. Must be skilled in using ArcView and ArcGIS. A background or education in biology or environmental sciences and experience in natural resource conservation science is strongly preferred.
