We're looking for a mid-level GIS Analyst with cartographic, data management and analytical skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing GIS support and GIS project/task management to a wide range of planning and engineering disciplines among Kleinfelder's environmental, geotechnical and materials business lines. Applicants must have good communications skills, demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and perform work on time and within budget resources. Responsibilities will include performing GIS data conversion and editing, GIS Map Production, spatial database management, analysis and reporting. Will also be responsible for the design, creation, editing and maintenance of geodatabases and metadata for a variety of projects. Qualifications: Strong Task Management Skills. Ability to network within the office and educate co-workers about capabilities and applications of GIS. Experience with ESRI software, specifically the ArcGIS suite (ArcCatalog, ArcMap, ArcToolbox) with understanding of CAD (AutoDesk / MicroStation) integration. Ability to perform GIS data conversion/editing, GIS map production, spatial database management, spatial analysis/reporting tasks. Professional technical experience with designing, creating, editing, and maintaining, geodatabases, and metadata for numerous projects. Strong understanding of GIS concepts and spatial data. Experience in the creation and maintenance of GIS data. Strong cartographic/data management skills needed to perform job duties. Kleinfelder is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
